Mangetout (Snow Pea)
With Mangetout, it is the immature, flat pods that are eaten. They are very tender and sweet and are used much more in Asia than here with us. If they are allowed to grow further, the pods will form inedible membranes, but they can still be shelled and eaten like small marrow peas.
