Deliveries abroad

There is normally no problem ordering seeds from us and to have them delivered by post. However, if you want to order big quantities or if you are ordering from outside the EU, we recommend that you contact the authorities in your country to find out about the custom regulations when importing seeds. Below you’ll find information about import regulations and responsible authorities in and outside Scandinavia.

Note: All orders from outside Sweden are paid with credit card (VISA, Mastercard etc.)

Denmark: No restrictions. For inquiries, contact Landbrugsstyrelsen at www.lbst.dk/ or phone number +45-33 95 80 00.

Finland: No restrictions. For inquiries, contact the Finnish Food authority at www.ruokavirasto.fi or phone number +358 29 530 0400.

Norway: Goods to Norway are always shipped without Swedish VAT.

From 1 januari 2020, new custom regulations apply regarding seed import to Norway. Ordinary import duties and taxes will be added to every consignment, regardless of the value of the goods. This means that the former NOK 350 value limit does no longer apply.

Please note that there might be a considerable extra cost when ordering seeds to Norway. The Norwegian postal service will charge extra fees for administration, customs clearance and taxes. If you want to know how big the cost will be, contact the Norwegian postal service (www.posten.no, phone number +47 22 03 00 00) and/or the Norwegian customs (www.toll.no, phone number +47 22 86 03 12) . We also want to encourage our Norwegian customers to place your order in good time, since the customs clearance might take quite a long time. We send all goods to Norway in trackable packages. (We do not send packages over 2 kilos.)

Private citizens may import 50 packets of seeds at a time, but only 2 of each sort. A seed packet may contain 100 grams if the seeds are big (for example beans, peas and corn) and 30 grams if the seeds are smaller (for example carrot and lettuce). If you want to import a bigger quantity of seeds, you can contact Mattillsynet and apply for an import permit.  (www.mattilsynet.no or phone number +47 22 40 00 00).

Unfortunately, we cannot issue phytosanitary certificates.

Iceland, Åland: No restrictions. Goods to  Iceland and Åland are always shipped without Swedish VAT. For inquiries regarding VAT on seed import, contact the customs in each country.
Iceland: www.tollur.is, phone number +354 560 0315
Åland: www.tulli.fi, phone number +358 295 5201

Outside Scandinavia: There is normally no problem ordering seeds from us and to have them delivered by post within the EU. If you are ordering from outside the EU we recommend that you contact the agricultural authorities in your country to find out about the custom regulations when importing seeds.

Unfortunately, we can not issue phytosanitary certificates.

UK: Due to new regulations after Brexit, we’re currently not shipping orders to the UK. Hopefully, we’ll be able to offer this service again in the future.
