Alba, organic seeds

Eco

Information

A white-flowering variety of borage that is used in the same way as the blue-flowering one. It doesn't grow as tall as the blue, but is just as easy to grow and a nice flower in the flowerbed.

The flowers have a cucumber-like taste and are picked young for salads, tea and more. They can also be candied to decorate desserts and pastries. Some make tea from both flowers and leaves. However, we would like to inform you that the leaves contain small amounts of liver-toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids.

Cucumber thrives best in full sun in well-drained soil. It often reseeds itself.

One portion contains about 30 seeds.
