A very fine head lettuce yielding a large beautiful head of plump, juicy leaves, a light yellow-green at the bottom, red further out. R.C. can be sown during the whole season and has proved slow to bloom. It can handle both heat and cold without going bad. Red Cross is a most delicious and beautiful head lettuce. A portion contains about 200 seeds.
