Elegant, airy shrub with green anise-scented foliage. 150-200 cm high with lemon yellow, typically fringed, 5-7 cm flowers. It blooms from July to September and overwinters easily if grown in well-drained soil. Sow indoors in January-March for later planting. The seeds may need to be stratified if germination is slow or sow outdoors directly in open ground during the autumn.
