Information
Annual clover that is common in green manure applications. It grows quickly into a dense mat and can withstand being cut back several times in a season if done before it blooms. Persian clover quickly covers an area and effectively outcompetes weeds. If it flowers, you have a magnet for both bumblebees and bees. It thrives best on slightly moister, fertile soils. Feel free to cut it off and use it to cover other areas in your crop. It then freezes down in the winter and forms a small protective blanket for your soil.
