Deliveries abroad

There is normally no problem ordering seeds from us and to have them delivered by post. However, if you want to order big quantities or if you are ordering from outside the EU, we recommend that you contact the authorities in your country to find out about the custom regulations when importing seeds. Below you’ll find information about import regulations and responsible authorities in and outside Scandinavia.

Note: All orders from outside Sweden are paid with credit card (VISA, Mastercard etc.)

Denmark: No restrictions. For inquiries, contact Landbrugsstyrelsen at www.lbst.dk/ or by phone on +45-33 95 80 00.

Finland: Import restrictions exist on Beta vulgaris (beetroot and Swiss chard). To import B. vulgaris to Finland, a plant passport for protected zone is required, to rule out that the seeds are not infected with Rhizomania (caused by the virus Beet Necrotic Yellow Vein Virus, BNYVV). Unfortunately, we cannot perform the analysis of seeds required as a basis for this plant passport. For inquiries, contact the Finnish Food authority at www.ruokavirasto.fi or by phone on +358 29 530 0400.

Parcels to Finland can be traced at www.postnord.se.

Norway: Goods to Norway are always shipped without Swedish VAT.

From 1 january 2020, new custom regulations apply regarding seed import to Norway. Ordinary import duties and taxes will be added to every consignment, regardless of the value of the goods. Unfortunately, we can not use the simplified VAT registration scheme (VOEC), as seeds are goods with restrictions.

Please note that there might be a considerable extra cost when ordering seeds to Norway. The Norwegian postal service will charge extra fees for administration, customs clearance and taxes. If you want to know how big the cost will be, contact the Norwegian postal service (www.posten.no, phone number +47 22 03 00 00) and/or the Norwegian customs (www.toll.no, phone number +47 22 86 03 12) . We also want to encourage our Norwegian customers to place your order a good time in advance, since the customs clearance might take quite a long time.

We send all goods to Norway in trackable packages. They can be traced at www.postnord.se, and after entering Norway at www.bring.no. We do not send packages exceeding 2 kilos. For orders where the value exceeds 2000 SEK we will add an extra fee of 50 SEK for the extra administration necessary.

Private citizens are allowed to import seeds into Norway for their own use. Some restrictions may apply. For businesses and for import in commersial purposes other restrictions apply. More information on this is available at www.mattilsynet.no or by phone on +47 22 40 00 00.

Unfortunately, we cannot issue phytosanitary certificates and import of consignments where this is necessary is at your own risk.

Iceland and Åland: No restrictions. Goods to Iceland and Åland are always shipped without Swedish VAT. For inquiries regarding VAT on seed import, contact the customs in each country. For orders where the value exceeds 2000 SEK we add an administrative fee of 50 SEK, due to the extra administration needed for deliveries outside of the EU.

Åland: www.tulli.fi, phone number +358 295 5201

Outside Scandinavia: There is normally no problem ordering seeds from us and have them delivered by post within the EU. If you are ordering from outside the EU we recommend that you contact the agricultural authorities in your country to find out more about the custom regulations when importing seeds. For orders where the value exceeds 2000 SEK we will add an administrative fee of 50 SEK, due to the extra administration needed for deliveries outside of the EU.

Unfortunately, we cannot issue phytosanitary certificates and import of consignments where this is necessary is at your own risk.

UK: Due to new regulations after Brexit, we’re currently not shipping orders to the UK. Hopefully, we’ll be able to offer this service again in the future.
