CULTIVATION OF ASPARAGUS SEEDS
The asparagus is perennial and cross-fertilizes with female and male flowers on different plants. The bees take care of their pollination, so different sorts must be at least 500 m from each other. The red berries are picked in the autumn before the frosts begin. Mash the berries in a bowl and add water. Stir and rub and then rinse away the fruit-flesh and unripe seeds easily. Wash the seeds in several lots of water, then scatter the ripe black seeds and dry them at once.
