Love-Lies-Bleeding (Pendant Amaranth)

Amaranth family. Annual. Originally from tropical Africa and Asia. Small red flowers form a dense floral pendant that hangs down over the plant like a tail. Good as cut or dried flowers. Need to have nutritious, rich soil in a sunny position.

SOWING: Sow in warm soil indoors in April for planting out in the open in early May. Does not tolerate frost. Plant spacing 20 cm.
