Brassica rapa var. narinosa
Has numerous dark-green, shiny, slightly crumpled, spoon-shaped leaves which are gathered in a low, dense bow. The stems are white and juicy and about 2 cm wide. It is slow to bloom and tolerates a good deal of frost in late autumn. Tatsoi is a beauty, rich in vitamins, tender and tasty. It is usually eaten cooked for a couple of minutes. Plant distance: 20 cm. A portion contains about 400 seeds.
