Flakker 2, organic seeds
Daucus carota ssp. sativus
Well known old autumn- and winter-carrot, that is still widely grown. The roots are large and sturdy with a blunt tip and a core that is through-coloured. The tendency for the neck to turn green is small. The heavy foliage makes it easy to harvest. Flakker is cultivated both as a fresh autumn carrot and harvested late for winter storage. A portion contains about 800 seeds.
