Brassica rapa

Is a fiery red, spherical egg turnip of crispy, white flesh, sometimes with pink marbling. The leaves with their vigorously red stems and nerves are eaten young. Slices of Red Round in a salad are both tasty and beautiful. White Globe is like "Purple Top" popular for souring and preserving. A portion contains about 200 seeds.
