Aster
Callistephus chinensis
is composite and annual originating in China and didn"™t arrive in Europe until 1732. It blooms in Aug - Sep. and is an excellent cut flower and resistant to wilt disease. The aster plant prefers a soil rich in lime in the sun.
SOWING: Sow 1 cm deep indoors or in hot-beds in March for bedding out when the risk of frost is over.
SEEDS: 1 g contains 450 seeds.
