California Poppy

     Eschscholtzia californica
of the poppy family is annual and originally from California with bowl-shaped flowers of orange-yellow shades, opening only in sunshine. C.P. is an excellent flower for beds and borders, for edging and rock gardens. It thrives in sand-mixed soil in the sun and is easy to grow, 30-35 cm tall.

SOWING: Sow directly outdoors ½cm deep in April-May with 20 cm between the plants!
