Gypsophyla
Gypsophila elegansof the Carnation family is an annual originally from Asia Minor and Central Asia, a fast growing flower for cutting and beds and borders. It blooms for a relatively short time, so it is advisable to sow successively. G. is undemanding but prefers a soil rich in lime in the sun.
SOWING: Sow shallowly outdoors beginning in early spring, 5-10 cm between the plants, 45 cm tall. It self-sows quite easily.
