Vervain
Verbena bonariensisGraceful, 100-120 cm. high plant with bright purple-violet, small, long-lasting flowers in dense flocks. Vervain is a perennial but often grown as annuals. Can sometimes overwinter under a protective cover of straw or similar. Blooms from July until frost stops it. Excellent for cut flowers.
SOWING: It should be sown very superficially in February or March. To help the germination, it should be treated to cold in a fridge for 2 weeks and then planted outdoors once the frosts have stopped.
