Spicy Tagetes
Tagetes tenuifoliabelongs to the Compositae family and is originally from Latin America like others of the Tagetes species. It has small flowers and small lobate leaves and resembles a sweeping bush, 35 cm tall and covered with single flowers. Spicy Tagetes is a beautiful, easy to grow, hardy and is used as a herb in food, with a special taste, a tinge of lemon. This plant flavours desserts well too. Leaves, stalks and flowers are used.
SOWING: Sow about 6 weeks before setting out when the risk of frost is over. Keep 30 cm of space between plants!
