Chamaemelum nobileis a perennial low camomile with a distinct scent of apple. It provides excellent ground-cover and can handle some tramping. Roman Camomile thrives in a cooler climate in full sun-light with its roots in limy soil. It bears fewer flowers than the common annual camomile does but they are used in the same way.
