Borage
Borago officinalisbelongs to the Asperifolious family and is originally from Southern Europe and Northern Africa. It has been thought to bring happiness and infuse courage for thousands of years. It is an annual, vigorously growing, asperifolious herb of sky-blue flowers, much appreciated by bees. Leaves and stems have a cucumber-like flavour. They should be picked young for salads, tea etc. The flowers can decorate salads or be candied for desserts and pastries.
SOWING: Sow directly or pre-cultivate! It easily self-sows. Keep 20-30 cm between the plants!
