Foxglove
Digitalis purpureaof the Snapdragon-family is bi-annual and originally from western and central Asia. It is an old impressive medicinal plant of large beautiful flowers in white, pink and red. F. prefers well drained, relatively moist soil, very hardy, 120 cm tall and poisonous.
SOWING: Sow very shallowly in a hotbed or directly outdoors in May-June, 30 cm between the plants.
