CULTIVATION OF KOHLRABI SEEDS
Kohlrabi belongs to the species Brassica oleracea and cross-fertilizes with other variants of cabbage plants. Cultivating kohlrabi seeds has much in common with growing the seeds of its relatives.
The kohlrabi is biannual and winters over, half-grown, in the plot well covered or heeled in with the root intact in a cellar or clamp. In that case remove all the leaves except the topmost ones. Carefully remove all plants which are not typical of the sort and the ones which show signs of ill health.
Set the plants with 50-60 cm of mutual space and earth up around the bulge.  Follow the advice about seed growing under Cultivation of white cabbage seeds.
